1st Move International take great care in the collection, packing and shipping of your personal possessions overseas. We are proud to have one of the best insurance claims records in our industry, helped by our unique packing systems.

Please be aware however that your goods will be handled by
other parties, including overseas customs officers, whilst on route
to your final destination and we recommend that you take out
our Marine Insurance policy which has been specifically designed
to cover any occasional mishaps. Your marine insurance policy will cover "all risks"  when you have requested our packing services, or loss and theft for any goods you have packed yourself and declared to us on your application form.

Is your mover authorised to provide you with cover ?
You can check the FSA register here: Our registration number is 314930 or check 1st Move International of whom we are a wholly owned subsidiary. If your mover is not listed then he cannot legally provide you, directly, with insurance cover !
